Coordinated Control of an Islanded Microintegrated Energy System with an Electrolyzer and Micro-Gas Turbine

Microintegrated energy systems (MIESs) can be disconnected from power distribution during system faults. This paper develops a control scheme for an islanded MIES. The VSC inverter controls the AC bus voltage and frequency using modified regulator regulator. structures of power-to-gas PMSG-based microturbine generator (MTG) are improved. Renewable generation always runs at maximum point. surplus renewable in MIES converted into natural gas power-to-gas, make full use energy. proposed coordinated electrolyzer supercapacitor achieve balance reduce DC-link fluctuation. A micro-gas turbine provide electric to load enhance resilience. MTG is developed improve operation. feature this research on fault ride-through strategy proposed, where reduced limit short-circuit current Islanded simulations conducted MATLAB/Simulink environment test scheme. simulation results verify effectiveness normal operation failure.
